I own 30+ adult coloring books, and this is by far my favorite that I own. The faeries are beautiful, the "weirdlings" are creative and varied. I love faeries and unusual things and this book delivers on both accounts. This is probably going to be the first book that I color every single design in. I love them all.As for book specifications, it has what I look for in adult coloring books... one sided designs. The backs of the pages are blank, which I like because I use markers to color with for the most part and there is generally some bleed through with most coloring books. The paper is a good quality and takes the markers well, not tearing or anything like that, which I have had issues with some books that the paper is too thin in.Overall, I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys faeries, oddball creatures and whimsy. You will not be disappointed.

I absolutely LOVE this book. It's a quirky, gothic coloring book. And just the style of the illustrations are different from anything I've seen. Shelah Dow has quickly moved into my top 5 of my favorite artists. I cannot wait to see other books she provides us in the future. :) I have 2 I coloring pages I have done so far in the book, but will post more as I finish them.

I'm a huge fan of Shelah Dow's work. I found her in a group on Facebook, and have been addicted to her art since. I love that she's got a uniqueness about her pictures. She's an awesome person to chat with as well. I will continue to support her and her artwork!! Now about this book. I knew I wanted this book for a while, and waited until after vacations to get it. I am slightly disappointed the paper isn't thicker, but I think that it will be fine regardless. One sided, so that is a HUGE plus. So many unique, cute and funny pictures. You want something that noone else has, this is the book to go with!!*** Edited 8/11/16 : I finally got the book out to color something. And the paper thickness that it is.. is PERFECT for pencils. I used Prismacolors and gamsol, and it's perfect with the paper. Not sure about pens, as of yet, but when I do know, I will revise again.

I've never been much of a "fantasy being" fan. But, hanging around Facebook one day, I saw a page by offered by Shelah Dow and decided I had to take a closer look. As much as I love looking at books with beautiful fairies and fae, they actually aren't that much different from each other. And so, if you're as bored with the normal beautiful Fae and Faeries books as I am, this is definitely a book to pick up!Shelah Dow is a very creative artist and I am enjoying getting to know her work. I have to say, I really like her faery creatures and witchy women. The images within this book are not your 'standard fare' of impossibly pretty faeries and fae people, just the same, they are absolutely delightful. I enjoyed coloring her swan-necked beings and look forward to sharing some of them on Facebook. They are so fun and intriguingly different. They have just enough weirdness to completely hook me.There are all matter of creatures added to the pages in this book, fairy cats, mice, spiders and my favorite, her dragons! Shelah Dow's book is wonderful drawn and so fun to color. Eventually, when I color it all in, and I will, I'll buy it again. I am really looking forward to my next coloring book by this indie artist!

This os a great coloring book, the paper is good quality and the whole book will spark your imagination. The subject matter is just plain fun and coloring them is very relaxing OR stimulating which ever strikes you . I find myself getting engrossd in what I want to do with the picture. I would recommend this book and I am so looking forward to more from this artist. 5 stars all the way

Don't know what a weird lung or willing are, well let me tell you, they are. No I'm not telling, you are going to have to buy the book to find out, but by their names you can just about figure it out.

The pictures in this adult coloring book all have a weird and wild way about them, definitely unique. I purchased this book for a friend and she loves it. I would say it is more for a teen to adult coloring enthusiast. Only one picture per page, perfect!

The drawings the artist did for this coloring book are wonderfully whimsical. My sister, Susan Dobbins Brady, turned me on to this coloring book, and I'm so glad she did. The paper is nice and thick, which makes for much better coloring than thin paper, regardless of what you're using. I prefer using markers, and while they do bleed through some, it's not horribly bad. I do recommend putting a blank piece of card stock or other thick paper between your pages, or under your page if you've removed it from the book. I am so excited about this book and am hoping that the artist is giving serious consideration to another coloring book adventure. Thank you, Ms. Dow for such a fun way to relax!!
