decent, but you definitely have to use your imagination as to what they should look like. Some are "pixelated" for lack of a better word (and perhaps the original was smaller or something) but despite this what one can learn from these drawings about the genius of Picasso makes the book invaluable and forgiveable in quality. Cheap so what do you expect? Buy a first edition if you are that bothered and willing to shell out an order of magnitude more.

It's a very good collection, but the use of (bleached) white simili paper makes it look 'cheap'. Makes your eyes sore and heart ache. It's like getting a set of photocopy from a library's book. Any designer would know paper is important for etching, if we are not using similar etching paper for this book, at least one that is close: wove (texture), off-white (natural or light cream).

Hood Museum at Dartmouth College has a collection of the actual prints, and I bought this book after seeing the exhibit. These prints are incredibly imaginative, Picasso at his best. This is a nice set of reproductions.
