This entire series is great. Though the story is fiction, we know enough about the Apostles that it is easy to put the in this type of story. You can truly imagine what life in the time period of Christ might have been like. I suggest it is a good read, whether believer or not.

Wonderful story of one of the Gospel writers. The authors came the characters form and personality. The story I knew, but not with all the added informational tidbits that made it come alive to me. Everyone should read this book and then read Mark in the New Testament. I guarantee you will be more interested in what you are reading.

What a wonderful book!!! It is based so closely to the gospel of Mark and the culture of those days, that it seems like it could be completely true, although I know that no one could quote the exact conversations and details such as are given. It did open my eyes to some of the verses in Mark that I had always skipped over. This is one of my favorite books. The book was used, but in great condition. It arrived within the estimated delivery date and was well packaged.

I enjoy Matthew and Luke cds from our library Mark was missing. I thought it gave me another way to hear the gospels. I thoroughly enjoyed. Will probably donate Mark to library for others to enjoy.

The book brings the story of mark crisp and clear to your mind as you are reading this, it puts different aspects of the true life these men lived and their thoughts as they went about daily life and their tribulation and the obsticles they encountered including themselves...
