I just read this book by Colonel Smoke titled, Itchy, Bitchy Nasty: She’s All Dried Up. It was fantastically, bitterly hilarious. This book is satire at its absolute best. Honestly, had I read this book before I got married, I would have chosen a MUCH younger women! Like ole’ Colonel Smoke says, “Menopause is a bitch! Get professional help!” However, it is not all about hating women, but improving your relationship before the heartbreak.I just have to cite two examples from the book that describe how this book is right on point. Firstly, Colonel Smoke discusses the Loin Rule, which states that a woman will choose her children over her man every time since the children came from her loins. This is so true. I have seen it, time and time again. My buddy has a half brother that is a thief, rapist, torturer, and even has committed treason against the United States. Yet his mother backed her mutant, demonic hellboy over his dad and other children every time. Her denial of what her son was got so bad that it eventually resulted in the dissolution of marriage and shunning from her other children who didn’t want to expose their children to such a clearly flawed person. Secondly, Colonel Smoke discusses how women always have to try to change or improve their men into something that “is better for them”. I can confirm from my own personal experience that Colonel Smoke is once again dead on. Women do try to change their men into someone that is better for them, and they try to use the “success” of their girlfriend’s ruination of their men as the justification to try to manipulate you into change. For example, your women will tell you that her girlfriend’s husband gave up video games when they got married so he could spend more time with her and start a family. He did this because he loved her, and obviously, you don’t love me because you refuse to give up video games. I still remember my response from year one of holy matrimony. I told my bride that I was crazy about her, but that I intended on keeping my balls and that once I was ready to give them up, we would talk about the video games. Like Colonel Smoke says, the end!In closing, I would like to thank Colonel Smoke for cutting through the women-speak and putting these complex issues into terms that we “dumb ole’ men” can understand. Colonel Smoke, great book, and I salute you!!
