Thoughtfully and well written story. I could envision the author telling it to her own children and grandchildren. Timeless in it's comforting explanation of one of nature's wonders.

I love this book. I have a personally signed copy for my daughter I received from someone dear to me, my great aunt and cousin of Elaine Schaids. I had never heard of it before i was sent a copy and am extremely happy to now have. Anyone with children really should add this book to their collection.

The book is engaging and easy to read. It would help young children overcome their fear of thunder and lightning. I thoroughly enjoy reading it myself, and my daughter thinks it is simply the best book she has ever read. Would highly recommend for any family with young children.

Delightful! This story is an uplifting and encouraging way for children to gently face their fears of storms. The conversation with Grandma promotes trust between generations. Love this story!
