I'm not sure what I expected from this book but, whatever it was, I didn't get it. The cover claims that it provides "everything you need to know" about blogging but, instead, it is very high level (read "almost superficial") collection of generalities. The type is big, the line spacing is wide and there's just not much information in it. What information it does contain is so general that it's of little use except to provide topics for Google searches to get real information. The most annoying aspect of this piece of fluff is that it breaks its own rules! It advises bloggers to read their writing aloud to insure continuity, to check the spelling for accuracy, to avoid using the same phrases repeatedly, etc. Then, however, you find that the book is full of homonym errors -- which pass spell checkers but are incorrect, that many words have been omitted, that phrases are repeated in two successive lines, etc. It's obvious that this is a quickly-written eBook that was intended to make some easy money. Save your money and research blogging on-line. I wish I had!

I enjoyed the content and structure that author implemented while going over the key items to know and master in order to become a successful blogger. A lot of people have the idea that blogging would be a sweet gig. Write a new article at a certain rate and then collect money while you sleep and travel. Not everything is simple and after reading this book it gave me a better understanding of what it takes. I would recommend this book to anyone who has had the thought of writing a blog and wants to find out what it is all about and if they truly want to commit!

I never read a book about blogging that brings up fishes, plants, monkeys and cheese as references. Yes these words are used in some parts of the book. Perhaps that's what makes this book truly one of a kind. I found it a bit distracting but once I got to the nitty and gritty, the book delivered on some useful tips to blogging such as words to avoid and the importance of niche selection when blogging to make money. I know my niche as I want to make a DJ blog and I plan on using WordPress as a platform. It doesn't offer too much WordPress info as this is a book about blogging in general. Still like the book and it is pretty good for beginners if you can look past the weird writing style.

Blogging is a skill that can be easily mastered. I have my own blog and as such when I read the book I was able to connect with what was said. The book does a vey good job of explaining about blogging, talking about WordPress, blog hosting, choosing a domain name, making money using ads, etc. Persons who have never blogged before will be able to start their own blogs while they are reading the book. A very comprehensive book indeed.Jason took his time to carefully document all he knows about blogging. I would encourage everyone who is interested in blogging to read the book.

I am really wondering what it is in there on being a blogger and its use for the society. What can I take from blogs or how does it help the community? And then after I have read this, I then now understand the purpose of being a blogger and how it helps the society. This made me interested and gave me me idea that I can also become one and start my own blog site. There is no right or wrong in blogging as all you have in there is express what you think, feel and opinions.

I have lots of niches that I would like to share with people out there, I only now start to explore with social media to share my creativity. Pinterest is one of the plat forms that I use. Blogging is a hole new adventure for me, it is free and a great way to share creative ideas, niches and lots more. The book helps me to get over the unknown and start blogging!
