I have not yet read "Yeshua's Cat" so this read was an introduction for me. I could almost imagine the storyline being woven in, out and through each temple and wadi. I fell in love with Miw almost instantly and was drawn into her tale of finding the most gifted child to ever live.If you've ever wondered when and how Jesus learned of his place in the Kingdom, this book paints a beautiful possible picture for you. I could not stop reading, although I was taken aback at the initial mentions of the gods. Quickly, they fell into their rightful place.Having read the prequel, now I must read Yeshua's Cat. I want to get a glimpse into what it might have been like during Jesus' growth from child to adult.Highly recommend

This is a wonderful fiction of the story of a cat who met Yeshua as a child and followed Him and saw the beauty and wonder of the love of the Father. She could hear Him in her mind. And he could communicate with hers as well. It is the prequel to "The Gospel According to Yeshua's Cat" which was absolutely delightful! I have read all three of the books which can be read individually as well as in sequence for each tells a story that will touch your heart. I recommend it most highly. Enjoy!

A powerful gripping tale that imagines and wends together the persecution and flight of both a cat avatar of a failing ancient Egyptian sect and, of all things, the infant Jesus and his young steps towards a new monotheism.Writing fantasy that hangs together and compels not just a willing suspense of disbelief but a *belief* is difficult enough, but doing so the stuff of the dawn of Christianity in the ancient world (of which so little is known but about which many would have opinions!) is done wonderfully here. Read this in a rush....and was looking for more when it was finished. Hope the flow of Ms.Francisco work continues and her voice deepens.

Simply amazing from the first page to the last I loved this book. I love cats and this is an excellent book for a cat lover. You should just buy the whole series really because once you finish this book you'll want to read all of them ASAP.

An interesting account of "Yeshua's" early years as seen through the eyes of a former temple cat. I'm a Christian and a cat lover, so this was right up my alley. I have purchased the next two books in this series, but haven't read them yet.

Follow young Yeshua, Joseph, and Mary on their journey out of Egypt. This prequel to Yeshua's Cat is well written and hauntingly beautiful. I didn't want it to end. Looking forward to Book #3 in the series.

A Cat Out of Egypt is a gripping story of Joseph, Mary and Jesus journey from Egypt back to Galilee told through the eyes of an Egyptian cat from the Temple of Bast. Four year old Yeshua is just beginning to discover his powers and make sense of the world around him. The book is fast paced and action filled. Characters are well developed and believable. This is a very good read and I would recommend it.

This book was so wonderful that I read it cover to cover in two sittings. It's one of the few books I've read that I just couldn't put down. I would recommend this book to anyone regardless of their religious beliefs. While it tells the story of a young Yeshewa as he begins to discover his powers, it isn't religious in nature. There is a spiritual element to the story, but the author has been careful to show respect the diversity of spiritual beliefs among the peoples of whom she writes. It's a very well written book that is very much worth reading.
